Well folks, we're off to the big event. Tomorrow morning, the 2009 Hampshire College National Slam Team (Adam Gottlieb, AJ Krebs, Andy Locke, Charley Pope, and Sophia Holtz) set sail for West Palm Beach, Florida. Over the next week, we'll be competing with dozens of teams from across the nation. This is what we've all been working towards.
It's been a crazy summer. The team housed this year in Allston, MA, and we've been working our tails off preparing for the big day. We've rocked a couple regional slams around the North East, we've presented our poems to the community, and we are ready to field our best work on the national stage.
I'm going to try my best to update as often as I can, but I can't make any promises (we all know how great I am at keeping this site up to date). We'll be terribly busy, but I'll post our bout results as soon as I can find the time. Until then, you can receive news about draws and events here. Wish us luck!
