Unlike our Nationals Team for which competition is open to all, the College Team is restricted to Hampshire College students. There will be two open semi-finals, followed by a team final. Because we are already restricting the College Nationals' team to just Hampshire Students, we will not be referencing the points system for the College Team.
Semi-Final: Both Semi-Final bouts will be open to any Hampshire College Student, first come, first serve. The first Semi-Final Bout will be on *to be determined*, and the second will be on *to be determined*. Each Semi-Final will be two rounds long (barring ties); and the four poets with the highest cumulative scores from those two rounds will move on to the Final bout on *to be determined*.
Final: The top 8 poets from the Semi Final will compete for the College team in two rounds (barring ties). The four poets with the highest cumulative point totals will form the Hampshire College Nationals Team. A team alternate position will be selected on the basis of merit with respectful consideration of scores in the semi-final and final rounds.
